Hi everyone today I did this activity that was actually on the SLJ blog.  So I don't really know what to say but hopefully you can tell what I had to do when you read the slides.  If you have any ideas of what I could say at the start of my blog posts please put them in the comments down below because I am usually always using "Hi everyone today I did this activity...".  Well that's it for today and I will see you in my next blog post bye!!!  And remember I do like to celebrate for every 100 blog posts I do and I am only 40 away until I get to 200 so please give me some ideas of what I can blog about and what you would like to see my blogging.

Magic Maths Tricks Activity

 

Hi everyone today I decided to do this activity from the SLJ team.  I was so amazed that these tricks actually worked.  I really recommend this activity and I say you should give it a go on family and friends.  Sorry that I haven't said much but I just don't know what to say because this activity was  so fun and surprising.  So I hope you liked this blog post and I will see you next time in my next blog post.

12 days of Christmas song ( My version )

Hi everyone today I was bored so I decided to make my own song. This song that I made today was based on the song 12 days of Christmas. It goes along the same way and you sing it the same way but there are 2 twists to it ( I made it say my family gave to me instead of my true love sent to me, and I put different things for the list of things that I got for each day of Christmas ). And you are probably wondering did I actually get all of these things for Christmas from my family? Well no I didn't this was just for fun. So here it is!!! Hope you like it and leave some comments of what you think and maybe some tips of what I could do next time down below.

12 days of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas, my family gave to me.  A wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the second day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the third day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the fourth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the fifth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the sixth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the seventh day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 7 little gifts, 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the eighth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 8 Christmas cards, 7 little gifts, 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the ninth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 9 more presents, 8 Christmas cards, 7 little gifts, 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the tenth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 10 big yummy gummies, 9 more presents, 8 Christmas cards, 7 little gifts, 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 11 Christmas decorations, 10 big yummy gummies, 9 more presents, 8 Christmas cards, 7 little gifts, 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my family gave to me. 12 mistletoe and angels, 11 Christmas decorations, 10 big yummy gummies, 9 more presents, 8 Christmas cards, 7 little gifts, 6 Christmas tree skirts, 5 Christmas stockings, 4 big presents, 3 candy canes, 2 ornaments and a wreath and a Christmas tree.

Summer learning journey ( Part 2 )

Hi everyone today I decided to do a SLJ ( Summer Learning Journey ) activity because I was bored in the morning and had nothing else to do.  So for today I chose this activity where I had to make a copy of this google drawing telling me what to do for this activity, then choose my background that I wanted to go along with this activity, after that I had to think of some words to describe a tiger and then make it into a kenning poem, and then once I had done all of those steps the next 2 steps were very easy ( download as a PNG and blog post it on your blog ).

Summer learning journey ( Part 1 )

Hi everyone today at school my class did something very fun and weird ( wonderful, excellent, intelligent, real, different ).  We did this thing called a summer glyph this was a very fun and easy activity, after everyone had finished their summer glyph we got to wonder around the room and look at each others.  What we did for this summer glyph was we got asked a question and had to answer them and for each ingredient was a different thing to add to our masterpiece.  Some of the questions that we got asked were ( How do you plan to spend the majority of your summer break?, Pick 1-3 words that make you think of summer?,  How much letters do you have in your first and last name?, What type of pet(s) do you have?, What word best describes your school year?, What is your favourite ice cream flavour?, If money wasn't an option, where would you choose to go this summer?, What was your favourite subject this school year?, What summer activity have you already done? ).

Hi everyone a couple days ago at school for writing the class did this writing activity.  For the writing activity there was a little twist along with it.  The twist was we had to try and use 100 words in our piece of writing.  This activity was a little bit hard because we were allowed to have a couple words over 100 but I was challenging my self to have exactly 100 words.  We started off with 1 sentence starter and get to 100 words but then for the people that had finished quickly and wanted to do another one could carry on with the second sentence starter.  You know how I said that I was trying to get exactly 100 words in each sentence starter well ...  I was very proud of my self because I got exactly 100 words in each one.  Now 100 words might seem like a lot and sounds like it would take a long time to write it, well it was actually very easy for me and it didn't take that long at all.  So if you liked this writing activity then please give it a go.
